It was a hot and humid day. Kathie went for a walk with Ralph, her dog.

 

They were on the way to the forest and shadows from the buildings and trees were sheltering them from direct sunrays.

 

But to enter the forest, they had to cross an open field.

 

And soon after they entered the field, Ralph, overwhelmed by heat, stopped to cool itself down by sticking out it’s pink tongue.

 

It didn’t help much as there were no clouds to stop the rays from reaching the ground and, of course, our German Shepherd.

 

Luckily for the Shepherd, Kathie had some water with herself.

 

They poured the water into the bowl and the dog drank it rapidly which allowed it to continue their little heated trip.
