It was a nice sunny day. Bruno and Daisy were returning from their walk with Sam, their owner.

Someone was walking in their direction — Sam’s neighbour. He often goes fishing in the lake nearby, and today he got lucky. As evidence, he carried a bucket full of fish.

Of course, the dogs smelled it.

Daisy was about to rush and grab one. Bruno waited.

Sam told them both to sit. Bruno didn’t want any trouble.

Daisy looked back at Sam’s silly but slightly angry face and froze.

But as Peter approached, Daisy thought that maybe, since Sam wasn’t looking at her anymore, she could become invisible if she walked slowly.

Daisy started moving forward, slowly, certain that careful steps would make her invisible.

But before she could test her theory, Sam cleared his throat and promised a reward for good behavior.

Daisy sat back down beside Bruno, and together they watched the neighbour disappear into the distance.
